About the Course
This 3-hour online continuing education program explores the intersection of race, gender identity, and mental health, centering on the experiences of Black Trans women. Through lecture, discussion, and applied reflection, participants will examine the effects of systemic oppression and minority stress, review culturally responsive clinical interventions, and explore ethical frameworks for radical allyship in practice. The session integrates neurobiological, cultural, and ethical dimensions of mental health care to equip clinicians with actionable tools for inclusive, affirming, and socially conscious clinical work.
